  5. Are you finding it difficult to start a conversation, find the right words and express yourself in everyday situations? Then you’ve come to the right place! Not only will you gain more confidence, improve your fluency and broaden your vocabulary, you will also meet other enthusiasts and forge friendships. Come sip tea with us, become a better listener and learn phrases you’ll be able to use in a wide variety of situations.
  6. Levels – A1 to C1
  7. Business
  8. Let’s get down to business! Do you attend meetings, write contracts, participate in conference calls, but you’re just not sure how to express yourself? Don’t worry we will take meeting minutes, simulate calls and negotiations, write CVs and reports, practice interviews – based on your needs. You will gain confidence and improve your fluency; we will help you land that big promotion.

  10. Individual classes
  11. Classes and schedule are organized to fully meet your specific needs.
  12. Group classes
  13. Groups consist of minimum two, and maximum six students. In this way you will meet new people and exchange ideas, which will give the classes real-life situations structure. The instructor will follow your work, support and correct you. A benefit of group classes is the lower fee. Courses last three and a half months.
  14. Intensive courses
  15. These classes are organized three or four times a week, based on your needs. The course material is covered in two or two and a half months. Group or individual classes.

  17. Our month-long workshops have been created so that while you acquire practical skills and develop your creativity you use and enrich your English language knowledge.

  20. Cooking
  21. You always wanted to make THAT pie, but it was too annoying to keep lookin up words in the dictionary? Or it was embarrassing to ask the waiter to explain the ingredients? Join us and learn the vocabulary AND skills necessary to prepare a variety of dishes. We will have cook-offs, tastings, and learn about different cultures as we prepare dishes from their cuisines, all the while expanding our English language knowledge.
  22. Film Club
  23. The latest movie is out, but there are still no subtitles available? Nobody wants to do an in-depth analysis of the character that left a strong impression on you? We will watch movie snippets, whole movies, talk about genres, directors, actors, act, play games and eat pop corn. Moving pictures will equip you with a number of useful phrases and lower your inhibitions when speaking as you start defending your favorite villain or acting out your favorite scenes.
  24. Arts and Crafts
  25. You can also paint a vase, make your own lamp, decorate your home in a new way or create an original gift for all the people you love.Discover and demonstrate your creativity while you hold a brush, scissors or glue in your hands; You will be able to understand and give instructions, receive and give compliments, and take home with you something you had made yourself!

 

  1. Savvy’s 9 months course consists of learning basic to advanced English skills through a variety of creative activities, this includes, but is not limited to, dance, cooking, board games, crafts, drama, art, science, yoga, math and physical education. All these activities will be used as tools for learning and perfecting the English language. Experiential learning, learning that supports students in applying their knowledge and conceptual understanding to real-world situations where the instructor directs and facilitates learning, is a method used worldwide in developing creativity, critical thinking and lowering student inhibitions when speaking and applying foreign languages in real-world situations.
  2. Yoga
  3. All that is required is an open mind and courage, students will develop the skills to listen, to internalize what they learn, and then to reconstruct it in a form that is uniquely their own. Start them early. Research shows that you can introduce your child to yoga as early as — weeks. Yoga enhances flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. Yoga teaches compassion and awareness of others. Your concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation will noticeably improve. Yoga helps to develop a child’s emotional creativity. All yoga poses are related to the natural world in some way and perfect for including it in stories and adventures, which stimulate the imagination which helps make classes fun.
  4. Cooking
  5. Ensuring children have access to good, nutritious food is vital to helping them grow up to be healthy and happy. Without proper nutrition, children are at risk of becoming either overweight or obese, or suffering from undernutrition, which impacts their health, growth and development and puts them at increased risk of disease. Understanding food and nutrition and the dual role they play as part of a healthy lifestyle is essential. Jamie Oliver : “Did you know that there are around 2000 different plant types that humans use to cultivate food. Teaching and helping students to understand where and how fruits, vegetables and other products we eat are grown, can help peak their interest in eating healthy. Students will learn hands on to create dishes from different areas of the world, some of which include, hummus from the Middle East, Moroccan snacks, sushi from Japan, salad from Greece and many many more.”
  6. Dance
  7. Our mission is to help students master English through physical activity. Dancing is a great way for children to get active and develop physical co-ordination skills, strength and concentration. Dancers are elite athletes and artists. Dancers have extraordinary flexibility, muscular strength and both physical and mental endurance. You may know Tupac Shakur as the late rapping legend of the late 80s and early 90s, but did you know that he used to do ballet! He became a member of the 127th Street Ensemble, a Harlem based theater company.

  9. The key is to make learning English fun is through the right tools and habits. If you haven’t already been doing it, it’s not too late to start – to learn English through songs and music. Research points that music helps language learners acquire vocabulary and grammar skills, improve spelling and develop the linguistic skills of reading,writing, speaking and listening. By engaging in a pleasurable experience,learners are relaxed and their inhibitions about acquiring the target language are lessened.

  11. Lets find out how and why things work the way they do in our wonderful science course. Not only will we learn about science we will test all the theories and perform our own experiments and solve logical puzzles.

  2. Debate club
  3. A debate is a competition in which two opposing teams make speeches on a particular topic and motion to support their arguments and contradict the members of the other team. A debate class will be based on a specific topic that has recently been taught, therefore strengthening language skills and vocabulary but also critical thinking on the part of the students. Speaking skills are strengthened throughout a debate. Students learn how to improve oral skills by using appropriate phrases and structures but also by trying to use argumentative language. Critical thinking in the foreign language is enhanced more than anything else. Every step of the process encourages students to be critical thinkers, pull points together logically and express their ideas in a clear manner. They even need to pay close attention to hear the gaps in other people’s thinking. This will aid them in every area of language and life, from test-taking to securing a new job.
  4. Wonderful World of Science
  5. Did you know? Butterfly effect: This mathematical theory suggests that the ecological system is so intricate and complex that a flap of a butterfly wing at a tropical rainforest somewhere is Asia can propagate endlessly causing a chain reaction so far as to even eventually cause a tornado in North American coastal areas. Come learn about and discuss the wonderful world mysteries of the world in our fun science class.
  6. Musical Workshop
  7. Let’s dance, sing and act together. We will learn scores and choreographies from amazing musicals, learn how to project our voice, enunciate, dance and sing without getting tired and analyze and develop characters.
  8. Crafty
  9. Lets make pillow cases, totes, tie dye t-shirts, bowls, baskets and many other useful and creative knacks. Arts and crafts develops motor skills and creativity, all the while advancing your language skills.
